Tailwind Transportation Software, the premier trucking software company serving North America, introduces ProMiles™, a new mileage application to allow freight brokers and truck carriers to operate more effectively and efficiently.

Tailwind Transportation Software is pleased to announce that its popular new online application for Dispatchers and Administrators in the freight industry, Tailwind Express Plus now comes with a Mileage tracking tool.

Tailwind Express Plus now includes ProMiles™ mileage tracking while still retaining its price at $99/user/month.

ProMiles™ provides Carriers with the ability to breakdown trips by state and provinces across North America as well as previewing their routing within Tailwind. This assists in quickly providing our users with clear information which they can use when calculating their quarterly IFTA remittances.

“We know how important this utility is to companies who pay Drivers on a per mile basis, and in recording and tracking for IFTA, so we are pleased that the folks at ProMiles™ worked with us to provide this to our clients through our new online application,” said Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Murray Pratt.

This represents the first of a series of feature enhancements that will be coming out from Tailwind Transportation Software in the coming months.

“We know that our clients work hard each and every day to make their businesses work,” said Tailwind President, Mitch Helten. “That is why we look for ways to add value and improve our products so that they can operate more effectively and efficiently – saving them time and money in their business.”
